It looks like Americans are turning on the once-celebrated Anthony Fauci. Now, even senators are hammering him.
In recent weeks, emails have been released that cast doubt on Fauci’s credibility. This comes as some leaders are demanding answers over the man’s connection with the Chinese lab.
Republican Sen. Rand Paul has been frequently calling out Fauci—even calling him a liar on more than one occasion.
Now, another senator pulls the rug out of this media-loving bureaucrat.
From Daily Wire:
Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) has had just about enough of Dr. Anthony Fauci…
“I know Dr. Fauci, I like Dr. Fauci, I respect Dr. Fauci,” Kennedy told Fox News’ Sean Hannity. “But Dr. Fauci needs to cut the crap. This isn’t about Dr. Fauci. It’s not about his feelings, and I’m sorry if his feelings were hurt. You know, maybe he ought to buy an emotional support pony.”
“But we’re not debating dance moves on TikTok here,” Kennedy said. “We’re talking about millions of human lives.”
As more heat has come on Fauci over his ties to the Chinese lab, the man has tried to dodge scrutiny.
He has criticized those who dared question his opinion and policy, claiming they aren’t attacking him—they are attacking science.
Oh! So Anthony Fauci is so confident in his frequently-changing views, that he’d refer to them as science itself?
Sen. Kennedy isn’t buying it. And he called out Fauci, telling him to “cut the crap.”
Fauci was outed over his shifting views, in recently released emails. He had a very different take on the virus, back in early 2020.
Since then, his views on nearly everything changed. Except, of course, for pushing radical policies that upended the lives of millions of Americans.
Kennedy torched Fauci, saying perhaps he needed an “emotional support pony.” The senator might sound harsh, but keep in mind this affects all of us.
Fauci is throwing himself a pity party, when lives are at stake. He refuses to answer serious questions about his involvement in the Chinese lab, what he knew before anyone else, and the evidence that backed his major policies.
But he might be running out of allies, fast.
