Rep. Jim Jordan is not done with the deep state yet—not by a long shot.
The Republican has been battling the D.C. swamp for years now. And he knows firsthand just what is going on behind the scenes.
Recently declassified reports reveal that the FBI has not stopped using the FISA program to “monitor” Americans.
So, Jordan and some other lawmakers are demanding answers from the bureau.
From Fox News:
House Republican Reps. Jim Jordan and Andy Biggs are demanding answers from FBI Director Christopher Wray after a newly declassified opinion from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court revealed “widespread” FISA violations…
The opinion, from November 2020, detailed the FBI’s “apparent widespread violations” of privacy rules in conducting surveillance under section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, but was not related to the controversial FISA warrant against Page.
Wow. So, according to a recently released opinion, the FBI went well beyond their abuses of the FISA system to spy on Carter Page.
This document claim that the agency committed “widespread violations” of the privacy rules related to FISA.
You might remember how the FBI was accused of lying and violating the 4th Amendment when they spied on Carter Page, a 2016 Trump campaign staffer.
It seems like they got a taste for getting around the law to spy on Americans. And we don’t even know how many people might have been victim to this.
Jordan and Biggs are calling out the agency demanding answers over this report. This is the first time in actions that can be taken by Congress to hold the FBI accountable.
Even Democrats should be worried about this, as this could have been going over the last few years.
Who was the bureau monitoring? Was it Democrat leaders? Republicans? Regular citizens?
We don’t know for sure, right now. But you can be sure Jordan is going to get to the bottom of it.
Do you support Jim Jordan going after the FBI?
