The Democrats know they have little time. 2022 is just around the corner.
So, they are going hog wild pushing their radical agenda any way possible.
Joe Biden has voiced support for controversial “critical race theory” and other curriculum that rewrites our history.
That includes the 1619 Project, which would teach our students that the Founding Fathers weren’t the brave, moral men they were. Instead, they were evil villains.
But Americans are not standing for such propaganda. So, 20 attorneys general are taking the fight to Biden.
From Fox News:
A coalition of 20 state attorneys general called Wednesday for the Biden administration to withdraw education proposals that they argue are meant to promote critical race theory and the New York Times’ “1619 Project” in classrooms.
In a letter to Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona, the group, led by Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, argued the proposal was a “thinly veiled attempt” to introduce the “deeply flawed and controversial teachings of Critical Race Theory and the 1619 Project” to students.
Twenty attorneys general are calling on the Biden administration to withdraw a proposal that would introduce critical race theory and other toxic curriculum to public schools.
That’s a significant number of AGs. For this group to be so concerned with this proposal should have alarm bells sounding.
After all, AGs usually focus their time and attention on criminal issues. But for this many of them to be troubled by school curriculum? You know it’s bad.
CRT and the 1619 Project are all about repainting our nation’s history. Instead of focusing on how our ancestors and fathers fought for freedom, it brands them as evil slave owners.
This kind of teaching is intended to turn young Americans against our nation’s heritage and national identity, so they will be more willing to embrace the politics of the radical left.
That’s how far Democrats will go to push their agenda, to even poison the minds of our children.
These attorneys general are clearly branding this proposal for what it is. The question remains though, will the Biden administration listen?
They have little reason to listen to Republican state leaders. But if there is growing pressure at the state level, they will be convinced to withdraw this project.
After all, these AGs are only starting with a letter. They can quickly move to legal action, if necessary.
