3 Natural Home Remedies For Swollen Feet and Legs

If you want to avoid this, then add lemon juice or some other herbal spices in your food. Very useful are the dill and parsley, because they have a diuretic effect. Also, you can use water with juice of lemon as often as you can during the day.
During the summer you should consume more vegetables and fruits with a diuretic effect like melons, watermelons, cucumbers and strawberries.
The tea made from parsley leaves or root is a great diuretic.
On 1 tablespoon of finely powdered leaf or root of parsley, pour 400 ml of boiling water, cover it and let it sit overnight. In the morning strain the tea and add a juice of one lemon. Drink this 3 times a day per 100 ml. Make a break for three days. Drink the tea like this until the swelling disappears completely.
The flax seed tea is really helpful when your feet are swollen.
Add four teaspoons of flax seen in 1 liter of water and put it on the stove. Coot it for 10 to 15 minutes. Then, Remove it from the stove, cover it and leave it for 1 hour in a warm place. Strain it if you like.
Then add a juice from 1 lemon and consume this teat during the day, always hot, every half an hour per half cup. Repeat this for 2 weeks, and after that the swelling should be cured.
Apply a saline solution to prevent leg swelling in the following way:
Dissolve one kg of salt in 10 liters of cold water. In this solution, wet a soft towel, drain it gently and place it on the lumbar back in 20 minutes.
Repeat this procedure for 10 days, every night before you go to bed. The swelling, due to increased urination is decreased, which starts shortly after this procedure.
You can use the saline compresses in one other way: dip a cloth in the saline solution which is warm, wring out and wrap around your swollen legs. Cover the feet with a blanket and hold it like this for 20 minutes.
Also, you can use the salty coating to ease the headache in a very short time and to normalize the high blood pressure.
Don’t be confused with the saline wraps. The salt intake can cause the swelling, but the saline compresses are doing the contrary, they through the skin stimulate the removing of fluid from the body, so because of that, it acts like a diuretic.
